The renowned Argentine director Claudio Tolcachir brings his latest production Próximo , a sensitive look at what it is like to be far away and to experience love and emotion through a screen. Recently premiered in Buenos Aires, the play has won acclaim for its intelligent and touching way of bringing a relevant, common topic to the theater. “The audience sees two people who are really close to each other but thousands of kilometers apart. They never look into each other’s eyes on stage. There’s desperation”, adds the director on this profound story of love and loneliness in virtual times.
