The emblematic Chilean group premieres its latest work, as part of the festival and alongside the National Symphony Orchestra. The piece is inspired by the landscapes and sounds of the south of the country.

The most recent creation of the emblematic Chilean group Inti Illimani Histórico is a work for orchestra and musicians, inspired by southern Patagonia. Initially composed for a ballet, it has been written with the unique characteristics of this territory in mind: its vast, cold and lonely steppe plains, its diaphanous light, its magnificent ice, its majestic mountains and the desolate presence of its aborigines. All framed in a setting of poetic remoteness. Suite Patagonia is a world premiere within the framework of Santiago a Mil, in the symbolic scenario of the Teatro Municipal de Chile, and with the exclusive participation of the National Symphonic Orchestra.
