Una fábrica creativa de barrio
After the function of THEMIS, we’re invited to visit Checoeslovaquia’s new headquarters. A lot of effort has gone into its creation and it includes three rehearsal rooms, a large workshop for set construction, offices, meeting rooms, storage, changing rooms, common areas, a community vegetable garden and rooms for residents. The idea is to continue to offer an alternative for the performing arts’ different technical, space and artistic needs.
Checoeslovaquia thinks about and understands art as something essential. It’s a place where creative processes and research are considered key in the chain of artistic production and that supports artists and their technical and creative requirements, generating collaboration and making creation both tangible and accessible.
This is a collaborative, diverse and inclusive space that is constantly in touch with the community and provides the opportunity for artistic experiences in the area through art and culture.
